Spinlock is looking forward to attending and supporting the inaugural [email protected] event, which offers delegates and exhibitors the opportunity to meet and network with key influencers in the fast boat category, as well as the prospect of combining their attendance at this new event with the 3 day Seawork International exhibition.
“Seawork has been a great show for Spinlock in developing commercial marine business”, commented Commercial Marine manager Doug Vincett. “We are seeing a continued trend for equipment for fast vessel operations from a diverse range of customers including forces, security, escort and guarding as well as simple transfer. Spinlock’s commercial lifejacket range is focussed squarely on this customer with a reputation for lightweight, compact and simple to wear flotation devices”.
As part of Spinlock’s support for [email protected], Spinlock are offering a free Deckvest LITE lifejacket for every delegate as part of their welcome pack and they are delighted to be taking part in the event.
Fast vessels operating at high speed for security interventions and Search And Rescue are a significant specialist sector of the commercial marine business. [email protected] is aimed squarely at facilitating growth and development for the design, build and operation of these specialist vessels. As operating demands increase, new solutions for propulsion, navigation, communications and care of the crew will be needed. [email protected] offers a great opportunity for new exhibitors, and the many existing Seawork exhibitors, to service this dynamic and growing market.
The standard [email protected] delegate rate of £195 covers attendance at both Sea Trials day on Monday 2 July and Speed Conference on Tuesday 3 July, which is also the opening day of Seawork International.
Day One – Monday 2 July – enables boat builders and operators to showcase fast boats for interdiction, SAR, border force, riverine and humanitarian relief purposes, and for specialist equipment manufacturers to come together to share innovation and best practice for communications, navigation and safety. Sea trials will take place in the challenging conditions offered in the Solent, which delivers a unique mix of sheltered, tidal and offshore sea states, ideal for demonstrating these fast vessels and equipment.
Day Two – Tuesday 3 July – sees the new [email protected] Conference cover topics including hull design, vessel building, propulsion, navigation and communication, in addition to biomechanics and crew welfare.
As 91% of visitors to Seawork authorize or influence purchasing decisions, Seawork is the platform for commercial marine businesses; exhibitors promoting their offerings. Exhibits are showcased across five exhibition halls, extensive waterside exhibits and 890 metres of pontoons, to a global audience of over 7,600 visitors from more than 70 countries.
Seawork International 2018 runs 3-5 July at Mayflower Park in Southampton, UK. Visit seawork.com for latest information and updates.
